Second Hand Tunes, Hyde Park, spring afternoon
Customer, wearing trenchcoat, polyester dress slacks and white tennis shoes, enters the store
Clerk: Can I help you?
Customer: Yeah, do you guys buy used tapes?
Clerk: Sure, what do you have?
Customer begins searching through his trenchcoat pockets for the tapes.
Customer: You know, I've been having trouble finding things since my bird died.
Clerk stares at him.
Customer reaches into another pocket and pulls out a dead pigeon with its head flopping. Out of the other pocket he pulls out a cassette, without a case, and sets it on the counter.
Clerk: Get that tape and your bird out of here!
Business as usual....
