Where are they now . . .

Easy Action
Over the course of a year in the early 1980’s, Sweden’s Easy Action released a single, an EP and a full-length album . . . which couldn’t have been easy, with all the time they reportedly spent in front of the mirror.

Career highlights:

- Sued Poison and lost – the chorus of their first single, “We Go Rocking,” is exactly the same as Poison’s “We Want Action” (recorded and released three years later).

-Released their only full-length twice, banking on renewed interest from a single called, “Rock On Rockers.” They came up broke.

-Closed out their career in 1985 by scoring and starring in the zero-budget slasher-trash flick “Blood Tracks”

-Kee Marcello left the band to join Europe, just in time for “The Final Countdown.”

-Reunited in 2006 at a metal festival . . . no one seemed to notice.

Next time: STARZ – the poor man’s KISS.
