On Friday, 2/1, the Fernley, NV high school senior made a very public announcement (covered by local and national media, including The Washington Post, ESPN and Sports Illustrated) that he had been recruited by and accepted a scholarship from the University of California, Berkeley. Turns out Monday, 2/4 was the first day high school seniors could officially accept college football scholarships and, upon investigation, Hart admitted that he had made up the entire story. Oof - how do you walk through the lunch line after that?
