Do you remember the time Ernie, Lisa Penelton and I came to see you when you were playing with Steve Pride? I can't remember the name of the place---just west of the Loop about, oh, a million years ago.
I remember you were wearing a wedding ring so girls wouldn't hit on you as you had a girlfriend.....
you've always been such a sweet boy....
Was it Phyllis' Musical Inn or The Beat Kitchen? I remember a winter show at The Beat Kitchen that was particularly good . . . Goober and the Peas were to headline. Unfortunately, they got snowed in somewhere and Steve Pride and the kin played the entire night.
